Tian'anmen Square in the center of Beijing is located on the East Chang'an Avenue, Dongcheng District, Beijing. Starting from Tian An Men (Gate of Heavenly Peace) in the north to the Zhengyang Gate in the south and from the National Museum of China in the east to the Great Hall of the People in the west, it is the largest city square in the world.
