1Calligraphy is a typical traditional art in China. Ancient Chinese people created Chinese characters and invented the writing brush. Chinese calligraphy then appeared. People paste couplets and the character “福(fu, meaning ‘blessing’)” written with a brush on their doors, adding to the festive atmosphere. The simple and delicate characters on couplets show beautiful images, and “福” means the happiness of life.
书法是中国特有的传统艺术，古代先民，创造汉字，发明毛笔，二者相互结合，便产生了书法这种古老的艺术。每逢春节，中国人家家户户在门上贴上以毛笔书法写成的春联、福字，更增添了喜庆气氛。春联简洁精巧的文字描绘美好形象；福字稳重端庄的造型寓意生活幸福，展现汉族特有的文学艺术。
