Xi'an Fanyi University (XFU) was founded in 1987 by Professor Ding Zuyi, an outstanding Chinese educator and its first president. As one of the earliest private universities in China, XFU has developed into a comprehensive university focusing on liberal arts and business, and featuring foreign languages. There are more than 60 majors in our school, covering eight major disciplines including literature, economics, management, engineering, art, law, education, and medicine. There are more than 23,000 students and more than 1,720 faculty members including professors and associate professors.
西安翻译学院（XFU）于1987年由中国杰出教育家、首任校长丁祖义教授创办。 作为中国最早的民办大学之一，西安翻译学院已发展成为一所以文科、商科为主，以外语为特色综合性大学。我校共开设专业60余个，涵盖文、经、管、工、艺、法、教育、医学等八大学科门类，学生23000余名，教授、副教授在内教职工1720余人。
