Shenyang Normal University was established in 1951, which is directly administered by the People’s Government of Liaoning Province. In 2020, the university was ranked among the Top 200 in the best universities’ ranking list in Shanghai Ranking. In 2021, there is a new jump in the ranking. The university covers an area of 1.23 million square meters with a building area of 0.95 million square meters. There are 26 schools and 19 university-affiliated halls, departments, centers, research institutes and institutions at the university. There are 3 overseas Confucius Institutes in Lebanon, Jordan and Ukraine and 1 Online Chinese Classroom in Pakistan. The university is the model university for studying in China in Liaoning Province and the base for Chinese language education.
沈阳师范大学隶属辽宁省人民政府，始建于1951年，是当时东北地区创办最早的两所本科师范院校之一。2020年，学校进入“上海软科”全国最好大学排名200强；2021年，排名又有新跃升。学校占地面积123万平方米，建筑面积95万平方米。设有26个二级学院和19个校属馆、部、中心、研究所及附属机构。建有黎巴嫩贝鲁特圣约瑟夫大学孔子学院、约旦安曼TAG孔子学院、乌克兰捷尔诺波尔国立师范大学孔子学院，巴基斯坦巴哈丁扎卡里亚大学网络中文课堂。学校是辽宁省来华留学示范高校，华文教育基地。
