Changchun University of Chinese Medicine is one of the Provincial Key Universities of Jilin Province, a university of the National Basic Ability Construction Project of Western and Central China. It is co-built by People's Government of Jilin Province and National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is one of Jilin Provincial Characteristic High-level Construction Universities. CCUCM is one of the first batches of host universities approved by the Ministry of Education to receive and train students from foreign countries, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao regions. In 2013, the University was granted the qualification of cultivating students awarded by the Chinese Government Scholarship. CCUCM has established extensive academic exchange and cooperation with universities and research institutes of 21 countries and regions.
