Shaanxi Institute was found in 1958, it is a full-time public ordinary college administered by the People's Government of Shaanxi Province. The school, located in Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, a famous historical and cultural city of China, covers an area of 1,003 mu (668,000 square meters). The college currently consists of 57 majors in 11 categories, namely: Equipment Manufacturing, Computer Informations and so on.
