Tianjin University of Finance and Economics (TUFE), established in 1958, is one of the earliest universities in China to provide specialized higher education in finance and economics. It is a multidisciplinary university with economics and management education as its core competence while embracing diverse branches of humanities, law, science, engineering, arts, and providing a comprehensive education system of doctoral, master’s and bachelor’s education with over 15,800 full-time students. TUFE is among the first batch of universities to conduct joint educational programs with foreign universities and confer American MBA degree in China. It has got certified by AMBA committee and is awarded as a platinum level learning provider by ACCA headquarters. It has a double-degree bachelor’s program of Finance jointly run with the West Virginia University. Two Confucius Institutes have been established in the UK and the USA. It is one of the major municipal universities and a high-level construction university with characteristics in Tianjin. Over the years, its education quality, influence and popularity have been widely recognized, and it is regarded as an important education base in the Northern China for cultivating senior talents in business and management.
天津财经大学始建于1958年，是新中国最早建立的财经大学之一。学校以经济学和管理学科为主干，兼有文学、法学、理学、工学、艺术学等多学科，具备培养学士、硕士和博士的完整教育体系，全日制在校生15800余人。学校是我国最早拥有与国外合作举办学历教育并授予美国MBA学位资格的院校之一。学校获得AMBA认证以及ACCA白金级教育机构资质，与美国西弗吉尼亚大学合作举办金融学本科教育项目，与英国、美国分别合作建立孔子学院。学校是市属重点大学和高水平特色大学建设单位，多年来，教育教学质量和育人品牌得到社会广泛认可，是我国北方培养高级经济管理人才的重要基地。
