Tianjin University of Technology and Education(TUTE) is one of the first batch of "Education Aid Bases" and "China-Africa University 20+20 Cooperation Plan" project universities approved by the Ministry of Education of China. TUTE has set up the Ethiopian Luban Workshop in Ethiopia of Africa, dedicated to the training of technical talents in the field of Artificial Intelligence and the development of the industry. The Luban Workshop has been appointed by the headquarters of the African Union as a training base for technical talents throughout Africa. TUTE hosts 3 Confucius Institutes, 7 Confucius Classrooms and 3 Chinese-language Teaching centers overseas to carry out multi-level international Chinese education and cultural exchange activities.

天津职业技术师范大学是教育部首批设立的“教育援外基地”和“中非高校20+20合作计划”项目院校，在非洲建设了埃塞俄比亚鲁班工坊，致力于人工智能领域的技术技能人才培养和行业发展，被非盟总部设立为面向整个非洲的技术技能人才培训基地。我校在海外设有3所孔子学院、7个孔子课堂和3个汉语教学点，开展多层次的国际中文教育和文化交流活动。
