Traditional clothing handicraft is an excellent Chinese culture and the compulsory course for Fashion Design and Craft major in Shaanxi Polytechnic Institute (SXPI). Relying on SXPI Xiaoya Fangzhai Traditional Culture Workshop, online learning resources of Fashion Design major and relevant intangible cultural resources in Shaanxi Province, this workshop offers Chinese language and traditional clothing handicraft courses at the backdrop of internet plus for vocational college students in "Belt and Road" countries such as Indonesia. Centering on the theme of "Chinese Language + Vocational Skills", the workshop aims to create a high-quality project for Chinese learning, cultural experience and skill learning. Among them, skill learning takes the form of live and recorded courses. In according with industry skills requirements, the learners will learn the basic graphic design, material selection, using of production tools, and basic processes and operating skills such as tie-dyeing, knot button making, embroidery, patchwork, etc. Skill learning focuses on cultivating students' aesthetic ability, design ability, special skills and innovative design ability. Language and culture learning is designed for learners in different Chinese levels, and will be offered through the form of live courses. The workshop consists of seven parts: Chinese learning, cultural experience, dyeing process, knot button making process, embroidery process, patchwork process, and intangible cultural heritage visit. The workshop is of great significance for learners to experience Chinese language and culture, understand Chinese vocational education. It will be helpful for promoting cultural exchanges between China and countries along the "Belt and Road".
