Founded in 1951, Chongqing Jiaotong University is an authorized multiple-disciplinary institution to award bachelor, master and doctor's degrees. It focuses on engineering programs and coordinates with others such as management, science, economics, liberal arts and laws in its development. The university began to recruit international students in 2004, and now offers bachelor's and master's degree education, medium and short-term Chinese language training for international students. The University also has two Confucius Institutes (Confucius Institute in Washington State, USA), two national and regional research bases (Benin Research Center and European Research Center), Chinese Culture Training Center and HSK Online test center. Our school has hosted many Confucius Institute summer camps and Chinese Culture summer camps. With outstanding Chinese teaching features and remarkable achievements, the foreign students won gold and silver prizes in the "Chinese Bridge Chinese Competition for Foreign Students in China".
重庆交通大学创建于1951年，是一所具有博士、硕士、学士学位授予权，以工为主，工、管、理、经、文、法等学科协调发展的多科性大学。学校2004年开始招生留学生，现有留学生本科和硕士学历教育、中短期汉语培训。学校建有两所孔子学院（贝宁阿波美卡拉维大学孔子学院、美国华盛顿州孔子学院），还建有两个教育部国别与区域研究基地（贝宁研究中心、欧洲研究中心）、汉语文化培训中心、HSK网考考点。我校多次承办孔子学院夏令营、汉语文化夏令营。汉语教学特色突出，成果显著，留学生在“汉语桥在华留学生汉语大赛”中获得金奖、银奖。
