With the theme of “Fly Chinese Language,Take off at BUAA”, the online winter camp program includes fifteen (15) thematic activities: seven (7) subjects for Chinese learning, eight (8) subjects for cultural experience. Each subject is divided into two levels: elementary and intermediate. Chinese learning adopts the methods of online live broadcast and real-time teaching, and the course content is mainly about “introduction, arrangement, shopping, food, hobbies, transportation” and some other life communication topics. Meanwhile, the course will also integrate science and technology elements, highlighting aerospace features. Cultural experience is conducted through hands-on demonstrations by instructors, guiding students to complete Chinese paper cutting, Chinese painting and calligraphy works online. Chinese traditional culture will be introduced by combining the names of Chinese aerospace crafts and rovers such as “Tiangong”, “Yutu, “Chang’e” and “Zhurong”, etc. In addition,through online visits of actual scenes or online lectures and live interactions, “immersive” online cultural experience courses are offered to carry out visits of aerospace-themed venues, such as Beijing Aeronautics and Astronautics Museum, RCSSTEAP & APSCO Student Small Satellite, Exploring the Secret of "Lunar Palace 1",China's Space Station, BeiDou Navigation Satellite System and Application and so on.
