Shenyang Ligong University (SLU), founded in 1948, is a university jointly built by the People’s Government of Liaoning Province, China North Industries Group Corporation Limited and China South Industries Group Corporation Limited, a university jointly built by the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence and the People’s Government of Liaoning Province, a pilot university of the National Outstanding Engineer Education and Training Program. SLU has formed a layout of disciplines and majors with outstanding national defense characteristics and coordinated development of science, engineering, literature, economics, management and arts. It possesses a complete training system for undergraduate, master and doctoral personnel.
