Heilongjiang University’s 2023 online winter camp “Touring Around Heilongjiang-A glimpse into China” offers courses of language, experience and culture. Taking these courses, participants can feel Heilongjiang’s culture, experience characteristic Northeast China cities, and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Harbin, the Ice City. After the courses, participants’ enthusiasm for learning Chinese and the ability to communicate in Chinese in real-life scenarios will be enhanced. They have the chance to actually use the Chinese language, and to see China from the first perspective. Our winter camp offers classes of various levels and participants can choose according to their Chinese language proficiency. We have professional teachers for the courses and dedicated teaching assistants for after-class tutoring, only to make sure that participants’ spoken Chinese and grammar can be improved in a short period of time. For extracurricular activities, the participants can follow the teachers’ lens to Heilongjiang Province’s port cities, characteristic cities and Heilongjiang Museum, where the future meets the past. The beauty of Harbin’s winter, which is completely different from the city’s summer charm, will make the participants feel that they are really touring the city.
