Against the backdrop of learning Chinese language boom sweeping the world, Heilongjiang University opens the 2021‘Chinese Bridge’ Online Exchange Project of Groups--‘Appreciate Ice & Snow Culture, Immersed in Charm of Chinese’ Winter Camp for students of Confucius Institute and Chinese learners of high school and university in order to meet the needs of Chinese learners in Latin America and parts of Asia, and to show the charm of Heilongjiang province. Covered by characteristic black soil of northern China, Heilongjiang has bred unique customs. Heilongjiang University is fully capable of cultural explanation with its unique culture in architecture and history, as it is located in Harbin, known as Ice City. Meanwhile, as the northeast base of international Chinese language education and the training base for overseas Chinese language teachers, Heilongjiang University has successively undertaken nearly 20 sessions of overseas training program for native Chinese language teacher, and has held numerous Chinese Bridge summer camps. All TCSL teachers have been teaching for more than 10 years, and 90% teachers have overseas teaching and learning experience. The project fully integrates language learning and cultural characteristics, aiming to provide a pragmatic way to improve Chinese proficiency, show unique culture of Heilongjiang, tell the China story, attract Chinese learners to have a deeper understand on China, consolidate the sense of identity with Chinese culture, and further promote the development of cultural exchanges Meanwhile, to meet various needs of students with different levels of Chinese proficiency and further enhance the learning experience, you can choose an introductory or advanced class in Asian or American regional group according to your language skill level and location.
