Shihezi University has been hosting summer camps for the Confucius Institute at Karaganda National Technical University since 2014. As of 2019, it has been successfully held 6 times and has received a total of 100 outstanding students from the Confucius Institute. It provides a good environment and atmosphere for immersive Chinese teaching for Confucius Institute students, and becomes a good model for the cooperation between the two universities to build a Confucius Institute. The original intention of holding the summer camp is to allow the students of the Confucius Institute to have a more intuitive understanding of China's current situation and to experience Chinese traditional culture and modern civilization more deeply. In the context of the global outbreak of new crown pneumonia this year, in order to successfully host the "Charming Silk Road" cloud summer camp this year, our school specially conducted preliminary research to understand the wishes and preferences of the students, and made sufficient preliminary preparations. Let the students not go abroad to appreciate the charm of Chinese culture and the beautiful Xinjiang.
