The summer camp offers a variety of courses, including Chinese language lessons, cultural lectures and international youth forums through which students can learn about the evolution of Chinese characters and calligraphy. Among all the activities, cultural lectures aim to present how Chinese characters evolve and how calligraphy and seal cravings work. International youth forums aim to provide a platform where students can share their own opinions over different cultures and issues, and thus have a comprehensive understanding of both Chinese traditions and modern China. Recorded courses, with a focus on both Chinese language and culture, are based on real-life scenarios in Shanghai. They aim to improve students’ speaking skills.
