SISU's Confucius Institutes Summer Camp Online 2021 aims to enhance students’ understanding of the Chinese language and culture and promote cultural exchange between the Chinese and partner countries. The program is designed for beginners. For the language module, this program uses materials designed by Office of Confucius Institutes, SISU, including the Chinese textbook "Discover Shanghai", the video tutorials "Show You Around Shanghai, the "Magic City", and "Living in the Magic City: Discovering and Experiencing Shanghai". The program aims to help participants fully experience the beauty and charm of Shanghai and understand China better while they stay far away. In addition, lectures on Chinese culture will provide a more systematic and comprehensive overview of ancient and modern China. The cultural salon will bring together the cultures of many countries, which will not only provide participants with an all-round understanding of the living and studying environment in China, but will also strengthen cultural interactions between countries and promote the exchange and appreciation of civilizations.
