Learning a language not only needs to know vocabulary and grammar, but needs to learn the culture and lifestyle of the country. With a long history and rich cultural resources, China has many traditional cultures that have been known by the world. However, social development, economic environment and people’s life are the focuses of Chinese learners and those who intend to study or work in China. This project shows the development of China in all aspects and the courses combine real cases and on-site live streaming, so students can experience the economic development and lifestyle of modern China and learn more about China’s national conditions while mastering elementary Chinese.
学汉语、知中国、看西安。学习语言不仅仅需要了解词汇和语法，更需要对这个国家和民族的文化与生活有深入的了解和认知。中国历史悠久、文化底蕴深厚，中国传统文化如武术、太极、中医等被世人熟知，但当代中国的社会发展、经济环境和人民的真实生活，是当代世界各国的汉语学习者和以中国为留学、工作目的地的人们更为关注的重点。
本项目以中国教育、中国经济、中国城市生活、中国现代科技发展等方面为展示窗口，全面呈现当代中国社会的蓬勃发展面貌。课程采取实际案例与实地直播相结合的方式，让学生在掌握生活必备汉语知识的基础上，切实感受与体会当代中国的经济发展与生活方式，从多方面了解中国当代国情。
