Chinese culture is known for its advocacy for greatest virtue and inclusiveness, it has achieved breakthrough in values on the basis of real-world practice ever since the sound development of socialization. More and more Chinese games have become platforms showing China’s image as a modern country and bridges for overseas exchanges. Among all the cross-cultural media, game is of critical importance. By starting from learning the Chinese language, this course helps participants to know more about the origin and characteristics of Chinese game culture, as well as the prototype of Chinese game characters. By learning about the social background of game characters, participants can thus acquire more knowledge about Chinese mythology and China’s social development.
