Chinese intangible cultural heritage embodies the splendid culture of the Chinese nation, and plays an important role in cultural exchanges among different countries. Folk art of painting in it is an essential part in the world art history, while art of painting in Italy has also boasts a long history and remarkable achievements. Demonstrating unique Chinese cultural aesthetics, this online project will focus on four intangible cultural programs, that is, Tianjin Yangliuqing woodblock New Year picture, Beijing inner painting in snuff bottle, architectural painting and paper cutting. It will also enhance communication among students about local art of painting from their countries, thus to promote exchanges and mutual learning of the art history between China and Europe. The main contents of the project include: Sketch, Carve, Print, Draw and Frame—Tianjin Yangliuqing Woodblock New Year Picture; Landscape Painting in Tiny Snuff Bottle—Beijing Inner Painting in Snuff Bottle; Architectural Painting—Jingxi Small Forbidden City—Wanshou Temple and Colored Paper-cuttings—Yuxian Paper-cuttings. Besides, as for Chinese learning, different activities have been designed, like vocabulary learning and practicing, sentence making based on pictures, interaction with language partners and so on.
