Hutong, as a characteristic building of Beijing, carries the long-standing traditional culture of Beijing. Each hutong is like a museum of old Beijing folk customs, containing unique stories that are worth strolling through and savoring. From March 16th to March 22nd, 2024，Beijing Foreign Studies University will hold the 2024 BFSU “Beijing City Walk—Cloud Hutong Tour” Culture Experience Camp for global Chinese learners. This 7-day online camp will center on language and cultural knowledge related to Beijing hutong, use various formats such as livestreaming courses, video tutorials, online cultural experiences, and online interactive communication to enable learners to not only improve their Chinese level, but also appreciate the charm of Beijing hutong and the beauty of Chinese culture.
