Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) will hold an online spring camp on the theme of “Entrancing Encounter with Chinese” from 27 March to 3 April 2024 for Chinese language learners of Sri Lanka. This 7-day spring camp will focus on language learning, with 10 class hours of Chinese language classes, 2 thematic lectures, 1 China-Sri Lanka Youth Forum, 1 Chinese Traditional Cultural Exhibition and a variety of pre-recorded video clips. This spring camp features the combination of small-size language learning class and large-size thematic lectures, and of live and recorded courses. The spring camp will build a platform for Sri Lankan campers to improve their Chinese language proficiency, perceive Chinese culture from multiple perspectives and gain a deeper understanding of contemporary China. The 135 Sri Lankan campers will fully utilize this valuable opportunity for communication and self-improvement and experience the unique charm of Chinese language and culture, so as to realize in-depth communication and interaction and promote mutual understanding between different civilizations.
