However, the widespread use of automobiles has had a huge impact on the environment and is causing serious environmental and human survival problems. Traditional automotive fuels in China are mainly gasoline and diesel, which are processed and refined from petroleum. Air pollution, global warming, and the rapid depletion of Earth's oil resources have become key issues of concern for people today. The research and application of new energy and energy-saving technologies in automobiles will reduce the dependence of China's automotive industry on petroleum products and lower the consumption of petroleum fuels.
