Paper-cutting is a traditional Chinese folk art form. This course introduces the historical development, cutting and engraving techniques and creative methods of paper-cutting. By leading students to have hands-on experiences such as two-way continuous paper-cutting and round flower paper-cutting, students can have a preliminary understanding and perception of the charm of paper-cutting culture, and develop students' interest and appreciation ability in Chinese paper-cutting culture.
