Chongqing Ethnic Music Sound Design Workshop. This course is taught by Teacher Jiang Yatian, aiming to explore how to integrate Chongqing's rich ethnic music into sound design and learn basic dubbing skills. Chongqing is not only renowned for its unique natural scenery and urban landscape, but also for its rich ethnic music culture. Through this course, we will learn how to use sound design to make these cultural elements more vivid and expressive. The course content covers the basic concepts of sound design, sound classification, and design objectives. Students will gain a deep understanding of the characteristics of Chongqing's ethnic music, such as Chuanjiang opera and Ba Yu dance music of the Tujia ethnic group in eastern Chongqing, and learn how to enhance the expressive power of works through background and emotional sound effects. The course also includes practical steps in sound production, such as material collection, editing and processing, and integrated output, to help students master the complete process from recording to final release. Through practical case analysis and hands-on experience, students will learn to apply Chongqing ethnic music elements to sound design, enhancing the cultural expression and emotional resonance of their works. I hope everyone can flexibly apply the techniques learned today in their future creations to create more vivid audiovisual works.
