Lecture 1 : Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a treasure of Chinese civilization, it carries the wisdom of Chinese people in fighting against diseases in the past thousands of years. The first lecture emphatically introduces the origin and development of TCM, famous TCM specialists in ancient China, TCM classics, the achievements, inventions and creations of ancient and modern Chinese medicine and their great contributions to mankind. At the end of this lecture, the important role that TCM will continue to play in global health in the future is also introduced.
