In this course, Teacher Tang will lead students from the “Chinese Bridge” to visit the Summer Palace. In addition to visiting Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake, which are the most representative of the Summer Palace, we will also learn about the stories behind the plaques, the implication of the number of door nails and the method of judging the male and female copper lions at the East Palace Gate; we will see the legendary auspicious unicorn in front of the Hall of Renshou; experience the endless fun of a garden within a garden in the Garden of Harmony; we will also go to the world's longest corridor to appreciate its colorful paintings; jointly uncover the secret of "peace all over the world" in the courtyard of Leshou Hall; experience the grand scene of Empress Dowager Cixi's birthday celebration in Paiyun Hall; appreciate the beauty of the prosperous age of the Buddha Fragrance Pavilion; learn the cultural image of "boat" and "bridge" in traditional Chinese culture……But of course, the Summer Palace is still waiting for our students to uncover its endless beauty in person in the future.
