In this program, the instructor will explain the origins, development and features of landscape painting in the Song dynasty and guide the viewers to appreciate the representative masters and their works, such as Fankuan’s Travelers among Mountains and Streams, Guoxi’s Early Spring, Wang Ximeng’s A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains, etc. The instructor will illustrate the typical techniques of landscape painting in the Song dynasty through demonstrations.
