Course Syllabus 课程章节
1“Green, green the reed. Dew and frost gleam. Where’s she I need. Beyond the stream.” The poetic gardens in the Book of Songs not only contain flowers, plants, birds and fowls, but also the sentiments and ideals of the ancients of “being on the other side of the water”. This course will take international students to visit the Sun Island Scenic Area in Harbin, China. The area is located on the north bank of the Songhua River in Harbin, and is the largest comprehensive ecological park in Harbin. It covers an area of 7.6 hectares, with 90 varieties of flowers planted, totaling more than 450,000 flowers, and the best viewing period is from June to September every year. Flowers of different colors are planted according to different themes throughout the park, forming a green landscape with flowers changing over time and showing the joyful scene of life with hundreds of competing flowers. This course aims to lead foreign learners to visit China’s eco-parks. Through this, they can pay attention to the conservation of flowers and other plant resources, and understand their irreplaceable role in sustainable development.
