Chinese paper-cutting is a kind of hollow-out art with a history of more than two thousand years. In 2009, it was selected into the UNESCO "Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity". Chinese paper-cutting is divided into seven major schools, each with its own unique characteristics. Shaanxi paper-cutting focuses on three themes: production, daily activities, and life, reflecting the expectations of the working people for life.
