Stitch, namely, how to employ embroidery needles, is a special term and the core technique in Chinese embroidery, consisting of more than forty variations, including frequently used ones such as outline stitch, lock stitch, split stitch, neat stitch, sand stitch, layer stitch, snowflake stitch, full-and-broken-line stitch, freestyle stitch, and couching stitch. Smartly selecting variations for specific embroidery styles will maximize the beauty of textile colors, luster, dimension, and texture to produce the best pieces. This course will introduce two of them: lock stitch and neat stitch.
