Based on the hometown of Confucius, this course teaches us the life of Confucius, as well as the thought of "benevolence", the code of conduct of "propriety" and the concept of "filial piety" represented by Confucius. In addition, along the course of the development of Confucianism, it introduces Mencius and his thoughts, as well as the Neo-Confucianism thoughts of Dong Zhongshu, Wang Tong, Han Yu, Zhou Dunyi, Zhang Zai, Cheng Yi, Cheng Hao and Zhu Xi since the Han Dynasty.
