The Chinese architectures introduced by this course are traditional and historical buildings before the beginning of the 20th century. The course is divided into four parts: the first is the history of Chinese architecture; the second is the characteristic of Chinese architecture; the third is the representative of the northern and southern dwellings; the fourth is the appreciation of garden art. Chinese architecture seems like a scroll painting. Whether the white walls and black tiles of the southern houses, or the magnificence of the northern royal buildings and the prosperity of the Lingnan ancestral hall, all show us unique cultural atmosphere.
