Shanxi wheaten food culture has a long history . Since calculation, it has a history of 2,000 years and is treated as “the land of wheaten food” .There are many kinds of pasta foods in Shanxi, and more than 280 species can be traced. Among them, it is especially famous overseas for sliced noodles. It is known as one of the five famous pasta in China. The pasta production process is different. it can be steamed and cooked, and various pasta have also been formed. There is a good saying, "the most delicious wheaten food of the world is in China, and while the most delicious one of China is in Shanxi." This lecture combines cultural explanation with practice, briefly introduces the culture of Shanxi pasta, and leads everyone to practice it personally, so that everyone can experience pasta culture in the process of learning to make Shanxi pasta.

山西面食文化历史悠久、源远流长,从可考算起,已有两千年的历史,被称为“世界面食之根”,山西面食种类繁多,有据可查的有280余种,其中尤以刀削面名扬海外,被誉为中国著名的五大面食之一,面食制作工艺各有不同,可蒸可煮可烹,也形成了各色各类的面食。因此人们说:“世界面食在中国,中国面食在山西”。本讲座将文化讲解与实践相结合,简单介绍山西面食的文化后,带领大家亲自实践,让大家在学习制作山西面食的过程中体验面食文化。
