1Martial arts is a traditional sport in China, and an essential part of the excellent traditional Chinese culture. It's also an important carrier of Chinese people's patriotism, and has a very solid mass foundation. Tai Chi is even the treasure of Chinese martial arts, and the world's intangible cultural heritage. The 16-routine Tai Chi was designed by the Chinese Wushu Reach Institute and the Chinese Wushu Management Center in 1997, for the purpose to popularize Tai Chi and the Chinese martial arts rank system. This routine belongs to the second degree in the system, so it's also known as the "second degree Tai Chi". There're sixteen movements for this routine. The content is concise, and its movements feature balance and softness, as well as upright and steady posture. It's suitable for people of all ages, and is a helpful approach for martial arts fans and junior learners to better understand and experience Chinese martial arts.
