This course takes Dali and Lijiang as examples to demonstrate the achievements and progress of environmental protection under the concept of "green mountains and clear waters" in China. Dali Ancient City is located in the northwest of Yunnan Province, China. It is surrounded by the beautiful Erhai Lake, with beautiful mountains and lakes and rich ecological resources. The Ancient Town of Lijiang is located in the northwest of Lijiang City, also in the the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau with an altitude of 2,400 meters, surrounded by Yulong Snow Mountain, Lugu Lake, Chenghai and other beautiful plateau lakes. The Ancient Town of Lijiang perfectly preserves the primitive style and features, and is a model of harmonious coexistence between man and nature.
