This course takes the Saihanba in Chengde, Hebei Province as an example to demonstrate the achievements and progress of forest land management under the environmental protection concept of "green water and green mountains" in China. In history, Saihanba was a natural park with abundant water and grass. Later, due to the destruction of forest vegetation, the beautiful high mountains became a barren land with white sand and sparse trees. Now, after treatment, it has become the largest national forest park in North China. The vast forests cover the sky, making it a green scenic line and an ideal ecological tourism destination.
