This course is a compulsory course for digital media and film and animation majors, teaching students how to use 3D special effects technology to produce short videos, aiming to cultivate students' creativity and software technology application ability, and to be able to use 3D special effects technology to create certain creative short video works. Course content includes: 1. Basic knowledge of 3D special effects: basic concepts and principles of 3D special effects, understanding blender 3D modeling techniques, basic component animation, digital sculpture techniques, lighting material rendering and other basic technologies. 2. 3D modeling and animation: Learn to use 3D modeling software for project modeling, action binding and animation, including character, scene modeling and animation. 3. Special effects production: learn how to use AE, blender and other special effects software to create a variety of special effects, including particle effects, smoke effects, flame effects, etc. 4. Rendering and Compositing: Students will learn how to use rendering software to render a three-dimensional scene into a final image or video, and learn how to use compositing software to synthesize different elements together. 5. Creativity and Storytelling: Students will learn how to use creative and storytelling skills to combine 3D special effects techniques with storylines to create engaging and emotionally resonant short video works. Through the study of this course, students will master the basic skills of 3D special effects production and be able to independently complete the production of short 3D special effects videos. At the same time, students will also develop creativity, teamwork and problem-solving skills, laying a solid foundation for a future career in related industries or further study.
