This course will take you to the Herbarium of the Museum of Beijing Forestry University and the campus of Beijing Forestry University, focusing on the unique plant China's endemic plant species, covering scientific knowledge and practical application.Through learning, students will have a more comprehensive understanding of China's rich biodiversity and recognize the importance of plant conservation.The course introduces the influence of China's geographical environment on plant distribution and the unique plant species endemic to different regions, students can learn about how to identify different kinds of endemic plants in China, including morphological characteristics and growth environment, understand the specie s, distribution and protection status of rare and endangered plants, explore the methods of conservation, and study the application of unique plants in medicine, food and industry. as well as how to make rational use of these resources. Through the study of this course, students will master the basic knowledge and classification methods of Chinese endemic plants; the current situation and measures for the protection of Chinese endemic plants; cultivate the love for the natural environment and the sense of responsibility for plant conservation.
