Some libraries have now provided digitalized classics of mainly two forms: one is e-books, the other is online databases. These methods help us learn Chinese classics, drawing the wisdom and knowledge from the ancients as we read. In this lesson, we will learn Bencao Gangmu (Compendium of Materia Medica), a classic of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and pharmacology in which the author recorded the medicines and remedies employed by traditional Chinese physicians to diagnose and treat their patients.
