Italian Style Area, previously the Italian settlement in Tianjin, is located along the Haihe River in Hebei District, Tianjin. With more than a hundred Italian-styled buildings in the neighborhood, it is now Asia's largest concentration of Italian architecture and culture. Another important street, Jiefang North Road, also known as the "Wall Street of Tianjin," was historically home to banks, insurance companies, stock exchanges, and other financial institutions.
