Faced with the challenges of energy crisis and environmental protection, various countries have proposed carbon neutrality target and strategies. For a considerable period, power plant with internal combustion engines will continue to dominate. At present, the low-carbon/zero carbon fuel technology has enormous potential for energy saving and emission reduction in internal combustion engines. This course provides a brief introduction to the development background, fuel physicochemical properties, and engine application examples of low-carbon/zero carbon fuel engines, including hydrogen ammonia, natural gas, methanol, and dual fuel engines.

面对能源危机和环境保护的挑战,各国纷纷提出了碳中和目标策略。在相当长的时间内,以内燃机为主要动力源的动力装置仍将占据主导地位。当前发展低碳/零碳燃料技术,对于内燃机节能减排潜力巨大。本课程对低碳/零碳燃料发动机发展背景、燃料理化性质与发动机应用实例进行了简要介绍,主要内容包括氢(H2)、氨(Ammonia)、天然气(CH4)、甲醇(CH3OH)及双燃料(Dual fuel)发动机等。
