This course will lead you to a preliminary understanding of UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle). Firstly, we will explain in detail the basic concepts of UAV such as their definition and classification, and introduce the birth and development process of drones. Then, we will take unmanned multi-rotor aircraft as an example to explain the composition, structure, and application of UAV in detail. A unmanned multi-rotor aircraft is an aircraft with three or more rotors that can provide lift and adjust aircraft attitude by controlling the forward, reverse, and speed of several rotors. In recent years, unmanned multi-rotor aircraft have quickly gained the attention of a large consumer group due to their excellent handling performance and convenience for vertical takeoff and landing. They have shown enormous application potential in fields such as aerial photography entertainment, plant protection monitoring, geographic surveying, emergency rescue, and even military affairs.
