This lecture primarily focuses on the ancient origins of the Chinese Spring Festival, its fascinating myths and legends, as well as well-established customs. It aims to guide international friends in appreciating the cultural essence and spirit of the Spring Festival. Through the analysis of the ancient poem Staying up All Night on New Year' s Eve, we will gain insight into the customs of Chinese folk on New Year's Eve. By reciting ancient poems like New Year's Day, we will experience the beauty of language, rhythm, and imagery in poetry.
