The Third Affiliated Clinical Hospital of Changchun University of Chinese Medicine is a modern tertiary comprehensive traditional Chinese medicine hospital that integrates medical treatment, teaching, and scientific research. It is the first and largest public comprehensive hospital at the tertiary level to be established in the Jingyue High-tech Zone. The hospital covers an area of approximately 19,300 square meters and has a capacity of 700 approved beds. Adhering to the service philosophy of "patient-centered, quality-oriented," the hospital leverages the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine, emphasizes the balanced development of both traditional Chinese and Western medicine, and has developed a comprehensive traditional Chinese medicine service model that encompasses prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation. This model injects new vitality into the development of traditional Chinese medicine in JILIN province. The hospital has established a section of Acupuncture and Tuina. Acupuncture and Tuina, shining pearls in our traditional Chinese medicine, are highly cherished by the people for their simplicity, effectiveness, and lack of toxic side effects. They serve as a bridge between the fundamental theories and various clinical disciplines of Chinese medicine, as well as a crucial link to mastering external treatment techniques in Chinese medicine. The course focuses on mature and practical techniques related to acupuncture and Tuina, including needling, moxibustion, cupping, and massage. It systematically explains the acupuncture and Tuina treatments for commonly seen clinical conditions. This course not only integrates the fundamental theories of Chinese medicine into the theoretical framework of acupuncture and Tuina but also applies the theories to various techniques used in acupuncture and Tuina."
