Changbai Mountain, with its beautiful scenery, abundant resources, and a wide variety of flora and fauna, is the most representative typical natural complex in the northern half of the Eurasia, and is one of the rare “species gene pool” and “natural museum” in the world. The Changbai Mountain Reserve, centered on Tianchi, is the largest natural reserve in China and a treasure trove of Chinese medicine resources given by nature. This video introduces the Chinese medicine resources of Changbai Mountain from some aspects including the zoning status of medicinal plant resources, geological environment, climate and distribution of resources, focusing on rare medicinal herbs such as ginseng, schizandra chinensis, and eleutherococcus senticosus, so as to let students have a preliminary understanding of Chinese medicine resources of Changbai Mountain.
