An accidental mistake created beautiful porcelain, and crackle glaze has become a unique technology. The Southern Song Dynasty Guan Kiln was well known for its crackle glaze techniques, a unique craft that is both astonishing and imaginative. In this course, we will follow Dr. Wei and Mr. Ayubu Tewele (Xiao Le) into the Southern Song Dynasty Guan Kiln Museum in Hangzhou, and together with a beautiful music, we will immerse ourselves in the beauty of this imperial porcelain and feel the history of porcelain making that is closely related to the times.
