1Manchu "Eight Big Bowls" has the characteristics of exquisite materials, fine workmanship, just-right heating and cooking, etc., and it is greatly popular. Based on local ingredients, the following eight courses of dishes are generally selected: 1. Amazun meat; 2. Big bowl of braised meat; 3. Small grandma’s chicken and hazelnut mushroom stew; 4. New Year's pig stew; 5. Four-joy meat balls; 6. Pickled cabbage tofu, 7. Pork stew with noodles; and 8. Big bowl of fish, all coupled with the Manchu characteristic staple food of “glass” leaf cake, just sufficient to make it perfect.
满族民间特色八大碗具有选料讲究,做工精细,火候到位等特点,深受人们喜爱。根据当地食材一般选择以下八道美食:一、阿玛尊肉,二、大碗扣肉,三、小笨鸡榛蘑,四、年猪烩菜,五、四喜丸子,六、雪菜豆腐,七、猪肉炖粉条,八、大碗鱼。再搭配上满族特色主食玻璃叶大饼,堪称完美。
