In the process of the development of Hunan embroidery, a number of master-level figures have emerged, who in turn have promoted the development of Hunan embroidery. The present status of Hunan embroidery relies on their innovation and perseverance. The masters are bright stars in the long history. We can get to know their main achievements and related works. The course starts with the appreciation and elaboration of several masterpieces of Hunan embroidery, including the patterns of Aged Pine and Longevity Crane with the significance of immortality and typical symbols, the vivid Heart to Heart with a combination of Chinese and Western cultures, the classic tiger and beast masterpiece "The Lion" using the most special flowing hair stitch in Hunan embroidery, and two masterpieces designed by Master Mao Shan: "The Mooring Deers in Spring Dawn" characterized by thin base material, misty spring scenery, and the upright shape of deer, and "The Splendid Eight Directions" being small and exquisite, which links the regional cultural characteristics with the world pattern, and exhibiting the confident posture of Hunan embroidery. In the introduction of celebrities, they are divided into two categories: famous painters and famous embroiderers to make learners fully understand the close relationship between painting and embroidery in Hunan embroidery. The most famous painter is Master Yang Yingxiu, who applied traditional Chinese painting techniques to Hunan embroidery painting, which greatly promoted the development of Hunan embroidery. In addition, we also briefly introduced Master Li Kaiyun and other painters and their main achievements. Among the embroiderers, we mainly introduce, in the time sequence, the embroiderers who have made great contributions to the embroidery techniques in Hunan since modern times. First, there are the embroider master Li Yihui, the founder of modern Hunan embroidery and the inventor of mixed sewing, then master Yu Zhenhui, the founder of flowing hair needlework, master Xiao Yongxia, the founder of face needlework, and master Liao Jiahui. In modern time there are masters like Zhou Jinxiu, Liu Jianxin, Liu Aiyun, and Jiang Zaihong, and their masterpieces are introduced.
