In engineering construction, each construction period needs accurate measurement of measurement work. Engineering survey is the direct application of surveying and mapping in national economy, social development and national defense construction, and it is also the most extensive application. The most important work of engineering survey is to mark out the data in the construction drawings one by one by using measuring instruments to construct. Its massive data and complex construction environment, however, make the measurement work time-saving, large error and difficult to maintain. With the development of surveying and mapping technology and computer technology, surveying robot comes into being, which is simple to operate and can be completed by one person, thus improving the construction efficiency and accuracy.

在工程建设中,各个施工周期都需要测量工作的精准施测。工程 测量是测绘学在国民经济、社会发展和国防建设中的直接应用,也是最广泛的应用。工程测量最主要的工作是将施工图纸中的数据,运用测量仪器逐一在实地中标注出来,据以施工,然而其海量的数据、复杂的施工环境使测量工作时效低、误差大、维护难。随着测绘技术和计算机技术的发展,测量机器人运营而生,操作简单,单人即可完成工作,提高了施工效率和精度。
